*So what is this "pay what you can" stuff? I have no doubt PGP offers much value, but I also know people join for various reasons and get different value out of the membership. Some are here mainly to save money on food, some are here for friendship and the social aspects, some want to support local farmers, and some are here for other reasons... how do you put a price on those opportunities? I have always strongly felt that PGP should be accessible to all, so instead of trying to come up with a dollar amount or a one size fits all price tag, I feel excited to adopt the PWYC model. You get to determine the amount you pay for your membership (renewable every January). I completely trust your integrity to pay whatever amount you feel honors what you receive here and the work that PGP does, and that fits your budget of course.
